OnlyFans' new Terms of Service: what actually changed for agencies

We read OnlyFans' October 2026 Terms line by line. What they say on AI chatting, tools, AI content, suspensions and agencies, and which rumours are false.

Since OnlyFans emailed creators about new Terms of Service, our inbox has filled with the same questions. Is AI chatting banned from November 1? Are CRMs banned? Is there a new face check? Screenshots of other people's summaries are doing the rounds, and some of them say things the text does not.

So we read the official text line by line: the new version, dated October 2026, at onlyfans.com/terms2026, against the August 2024 version that is still at onlyfans.com/terms. For each point below: what OnlyFans actually says, and what it means for an agency.

In short
  • The new Terms of Use never mention chatbots, AI chatting or chatting agencies. There is no new ban on AI chatting.
  • The tool and AI-training rules apply to every external tool. OnlyFans has not approved any of them.
  • AI photos, videos and audio must feature the verified creator and be labelled.
  • OnlyFans can now act when it thinks you "may have" breached the terms, so answer its requests fast.
  • Creators stay responsible for their accounts, whoever helps run them.

1. AI chatting

What OnlyFans says: nothing new. The October 2026 Terms of Use do not name chatbots, AI chatting or chatting agencies anywhere. We searched both versions.

To be complete: the OnlyFans Help Center, which the current terms page links as its Community Guidelines, has an older article titled "Can I use an AI chatbot on OnlyFans?". It reads:

"OnlyFans does not have a public facing API and Creators may not directly integrate AI chat bots into the OnlyFans platform." OnlyFans Help Center

What it means for you: that article is not part of the rewrite, and the rewrite does not change it. The claim going around, that AI chatting becomes banned on November 1, is not in the new text. Read both pages yourself and make your own call.

2. Tools and CRMs

"You agree that you will not use any manual or automatic tool or process designed to collect any data or information from Content… or to circumvent any measure that controls access…" Terms of Use, section 8.g

What it means for you: this applies to every external tool and CRM on the market, including the ones most agencies already use. It is not aimed at one product, and OnlyFans has not approved any tool, ours included. Scraping and copying content were already banned by the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Training AI on content

"You may also not use Content… to train or enhance any software, machine learning or artificial intelligence system." Terms of Use, section 8.g

What it means for you: ask every vendor what it does with your creators' content. Our answer: we don't train AI models on your OnlyFans content, and we won't. Our updated Terms will say so in writing.

4. AI photos, videos and audio

"You can only share Content that has been generated, altered, or enhanced by artificial intelligence… if: it clearly features the verified Creator" Terms of Use, section 19.b

It must also be clearly marked with a signifier "such as #ai, or #AIGenerated".

What it means for you: if you post AI content, make sure the creator is in it and tag it. Labelling was already required in 2024. The new part, in the terms themselves, is that AI content must feature the verified creator.

5. Suspensions and held earnings

OnlyFans can act if "we think you have or may have breached the Terms of Service", or if "you do not promptly provide us with the necessary information we request." Terms of Use, section 14.b

The 2024 version said "have or may have seriously or repeatedly breached". Those three words are gone. The new list also covers actions OnlyFans thinks could cause a loss or harm its reputation, and an affected account can be suspended and earnings withheld while it reviews the facts.

What it means for you: the bar for a pause is lower. If OnlyFans asks for anything, answer quickly and keep your records in order. Decisions must be disputed in writing within six months.

6. Agencies and teams

"If you are a Creator and a third-party assists you with the management or operation of your Creator account, this does not affect your legal responsibility." Terms of Use, section 8.b

What it means for you: OnlyFans' own terms recognise that creators work with teams. The 2024 text said "someone else assists you with the operation"; the new one adds "management". Responsibility stays with the creator, as before.

What is not true

  • "AI chatting is banned from November 1." The new text does not say that. See point 1.
  • "There is a new deepfake ban." Explicit images of someone without their consent, including AI-generated ones, were already banned by the Acceptable Use Policy. That policy is dated September 2025 and was not part of this rewrite.
  • "There is a new liveness check." The new text names no liveness check. OnlyFans could already ask for more age or identity verification at any time, and it still can.
  • "OnlyFans is launching its own AI chat." Nothing has been announced. A new line (section 12.e) says OnlyFans "may provide platform services to Creators" that can use AI and process direct messages. That is a right OnlyFans reserves, not a product, and its Help Center still says it "does not offer an internal AI chatbot tool for Creators."

When it starts

The new text is dated October 2026 and gives no start date. November 1 is the date being reported from OnlyFans' email to creators. Until then the August 2024 version is still the one at onlyfans.com/terms.

What we're doing at OnlyX

  • We don't train AI models on your OnlyFans content, and we won't.
  • We're updating our own Terms to reflect these changes, including that commitment. You'll get the usual 30-day notice before they apply.

A checklist for agencies

  1. Read the new text yourself, sections 8, 14 and 19 first. It takes twenty minutes.
  2. Ask every tool you use, in writing, whether it trains on your creators' content.
  3. Check that every AI post features the creator and carries #ai or #AIGenerated.
  4. Make one person responsible for answering OnlyFans requests the same day.
  5. Keep contracts, consents and payout records where you can find them quickly.
  6. Remind each creator that the account, and the responsibility for it, are hers.

Every quotation above was checked word for word on October 25, 2026, against OnlyFans' Terms of Use dated October 2026, the August 2024 version, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Help Center article on AI chatbots. Section letters follow OnlyFans' own numbering. If OnlyFans changes a page, the page wins.

This article is general information, not legal advice. OnlyX is not affiliated with OnlyFans. And one thing to know: no tool can guarantee how OnlyFans will act on an account, ours included.

Quick answers

Nothing in the October 2026 Terms of Use names chatbots, AI chatting or chatting agencies, and no new rule about them was added. A separate OnlyFans Help Center article on AI chatbots predates the rewrite and was not changed by it.

They ban tools designed to collect data from Content or to get around access controls, for every user and every tool. OnlyFans has not approved any third-party tool, ours included.

Yes, if the content clearly features the verified creator, carries a signifier such as #ai or #AIGenerated, and follows the rest of the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

The new text does not mention one. OnlyFans could already ask a creator for more age or identity verification at any time, and it still can.
